Professional Insight from the Class
As both a licensed therapist and a veteran police officer, I have seen firsthand the devastating toll that out-of-control adolescent behavior takes on families and communities alike. In the clinic, I have watched parents drown in the chronic stress of destructive power struggles; on the streets, I saw those same struggles escalate into truancy, substance abuse, and dangerous gang involvement that funnels youth directly into the justice system.
The Parent Project® is an effective bridge between these two worlds, which I have witnessed function in the real world. Teaching parents the concrete therapeutic tools to stop arguing and de-escalate tension, helps heal the fractured emotional bonds at home. Simultaneously, it acts as a critical law enforcement intervention, empowering families with behavioral strategies that disrupt delinquent patterns before handcuffs ever have to be involved. This program does not just offer temporary fixes, it provides a life-saving blueprint that restores safety to our neighborhoods and brings peace back to broken households.
